She has said in interviews before that she lip synced this, but lots of outdoor performances are. They do it to avoid wind, crowd noises, etc. This was STILL the best i have ever heard it sang. Its not Milli Vanilli here, thats actually HER singing, so who cares if it was not “live”

Today, February 10, 2010, Jim Cramer on CNBC told his audience that the best rendition of the Star Spangled Banner that he has ever heard, was done by Marvin Gaye, at an NBA All-Star game some years ago.
Mr. Cramer is entitled to his opinion, but there ain’t NO BODY NOWHERE who will ever eclipse the singing of our National Anthem that way you are hearing it here, by that wonderful woman, Whitney Houston.
