Either way, something was making her REALLY HAPPY cuz she sang that song with ***!!!A LOT!!!*** of feeling. Even if it were drugs, it don’t matter. Elvis did drugs and just as he is “The Greatest Entertainer” Whitney is “The Greatest Singer Ever”. She sang this song better than anybody else could ever DREAM OF! THE VOICE AT HER BEST!! I applaud Whitney for still going through with the South Africa concert even though her voice really needed some rest by this time. Notice the steely sound of her voice at some parts – this tone is present only in this concert I think. After South Africa, her voice just started to decline, although it improved in the latter part of her 1999 tour.

This performance is simply extraordinary it remains unequalled and it doesn’t much matter the bad criticisms full of jealousy it is a unique godsend to the world then thank you whitney for this magnificent moment, it is the vocal exploit which proves in others than you are the best and than you really deserve your title of THE VOICE
theres a definate deterioration in her voice from the Bodygaurd just a couple of years earlier. . . every 5 years you can hear the difference in her voice, it was effortless just a few short years before. . . and as for the strange people who continue to throw up the comments about ‘ haters’ who are ‘ jealous’. . . . . some of us are die-hard Whitney fansbut who remain realists about what has happened to Whitneys voice thru drugs. . . .
Well, that’s what they say dear. South Africa was one of her greatest concerts ever, but her voice wasn’t at its best. I Have Nothing from this concert is phenomenal, though. This performance is great.
Actually, the Bodyguard tour was the perfect cross between 80′s perfection and 90s soulfulness for Whitney.
I feel so sad 4 those who can’t just appreciate such talent. Throughout the years Whitney has remained touching at the top of her class vocalist. No lip syncing, no bowing down to trends. Like lots of famous people she has experienced the rough, thankfully she hasn’t met the fate of alot of those that have left us through the pressure (heath & Brittany). Please hold out a welcoming hand to bring her back to us, where she belongs, bring her back HOME!
