I would like to buy the version of Star Wars Vl Return of the Jedi where they have replace actor David Prowse (playing Darth Vadars spirit) with Heyden Christianson as the spirit of Vadar. Yoda and Obbi Wan’s spirits are unchanged. Is it the 2006 release version? Also is it on both the 2 disc set or just the 1 disc set. I do not want to buy the wrong version and waste money on something I do not want.

Any of the re-releases from 2004 and beyond will have the end scene replaced with Hayden Chistianson. You don’t have to buy the 2 disc set unless you want to

i am not sure but i think its the most recent one, the digitally remastered one. The most recent two CD one i think has it.
Buy the newest version, doesnt matter the set.
