I don’t know what it is, but I was just watching a video from her in ’96 singing this same song. Her voice used to have such character. But now. . . while singing “IWDWS”, it’s like she needs to seriously clear her throat and take a deep breath. Her voice doesn’t have any power.

i grew up with this woman she influenced me as a singer. . and if u told me 20 yrs back she would one day sound like this i wouldve said ur crazy. . . she fuked her voice so bad im lost for words. . she has no tone no register. . nothin i dont know why for the life of me she made a come back? why? her producers know shes finished and i have no idea why they went ahead and made another album with her. . oh well it was her choice to leave her career to play house with a crack head. . so her voice is gone ever

Drugs are bad. She had one of the most amazing voices ever and ruined it. I sincerely hope she gets it back one day. Does anyone know if you can ever get your voice back after it’s been damaged like that?
yes. since she is old. she will not get her voice back completley. but if she stays off drugs and keeps pratcing singing she will get it back pretty good. when we still will totally enjoy it. it just wont be like how it used to be when we were shocked with the amazing voice. im answering this queston for whoever wrote this comment asking this queston. i honestly have a bad feeling that whitney is not trying hard enough to get her voice back. i still love her though. im still her big fan!
