I think this is the best interpretation of the national anthem I’ve heard. It is not necessary because it is the best singer (although very good), but because it is a superior arrangement. The off-beat rhythm allows for a smooth implementation of the anthem.

Screw the national anthem. Written by Francis Scott Key. Why did he call the country the freedom of America, where black people in chains, why not give a flying monkey ass on black. The screw and the song.
